About me

Hi! I'm Rachel the creator of suchaehwa designs. I started painting with watercolors in the summer of 2025. While I was hesitant, I immediately fell in love with painting and found it very therapeutic. As a wife and mom of 2, life gets hectic! Painting has become my escape after the kids are in bed and the house is somewhat in order...IYKYK. When I started painting I had the idea of creating pieces that others would love as much as I did, but I didn't know where to begin or what I wanted to focus on. As I put the book I was reading to the side, it dawned on me that I was using the dust jacket flap as a bookmark as I'm not one to bend a corner. I designed a few bookmarks and after receiving positive feedback from a few people, I decided to formally launch suchaehwa designs. I'm excited to share my love for painting and drawing with all of you! Welcome to suchaehwa designs!
